I always find some excitement in the adventures that I encounter along my coaching path!

My coaching niche becomes more focused over time and coincides with my own personal development and spiritual growth. I sense God’s hand in providing a variety of experiences in His calling that enhances my desire and ability to provide help for my clients.

It has become increasingly clear to me that God is our Great Physician and that it is His love, strength and healing power that enables me to help others to discover His unique and special path for them. He alone gets the glory!

My own path includes a call from Him, and resulting desire, to help women with trauma in their past. This always includes an understanding of a need for a continuing growth and acceptance of their identity in Christ, a necessity for all believers to walk a path enabling them to gain confidence in Christ’s power within them to cast aside any shame or guilt and to experience a new path to freedom from toxic and abusive relationships and to find a place of healing, peace and joy.

Understanding God’s unconditional love is a key to staying on a path toward healthy relationships. Processing our past is one facet of coaching that I find important in helping clients to navigate around obstacles and avoid or overcome roadblocks along the way.

Each of us needs to find and walk on the path that God promises is available to us as believers in Jesus Christ. This life path should be one that leads to healthy and fulfilling relationships – with others, with God, and with yourself!

Are you on a path leading to the one that God wants for you to experience an abundant life?

I love this quote! This was one of my first posts. I said then how thankful I was that the Lord rescued me from darkness and depression. He cleansed me, took me into His Light and is leading me down the path of Life.

My heart is to help and guide others who are hurting, working alongside the Holy Spirit to point them to this path of Life in Him.

He is so good and faithful! He patiently waits for us.

Have you reached up to grasp His hand?

The farmer who uses a guide when plowing his field is able to keep his plow on a straight path. He fixes his gaze on an object ahead, such as a tree or a post, to keep his paths straight. If he looks behind him, his plow will start to jerk back and forth and his furrows will become zigzags.

Like the farmer, we need to make straight paths as we move forward. Paul exhorts us to forget those things that are behind us and reach for the things that are before us. We have the Lord for our guide to keep us on a straight path. He wants us to stay on the path that leads us to the ultimate prize, everlasting glory with Him!

Is there something that’s keeping your gaze from a steady look forward?

Do your sources for satisfaction often fall short?

Only God can provide real and fulfilling satisfaction.

Only He can be trusted to support us when we’re going through trials, and only He can guide you along a trustworthy path.

God is also able to bear your burdens and sustain you in your every need. (Psalm 55:22)

He asks only that you call upon Him in truth (Psalm 145:18) and trust in Him to supply all of your needs through Christ Jesus. (Proverbs 3:5 and Philippians 4:19)

Lasting satisfaction is the reward for those who know the love of Christ. (Ephesians 3:19)

Have you put your trust, faith, and acceptance in God’s offer of His ultimate gift that puts you in a relationship with Him and assurance of receiving all of the above benefits? (Romans 10:9-10)

There are many verses in the Bible about paths, and several about the “path of life”. The verse I quote most often is David’s in Psalm 16:11, which adds “with eternal pleasures at your right hand.” Is there anyone who wouldn’t want to be on this kind of path?

This is where the name of my coaching business comes from. It is not my path, but the Lord’s. He has a unique and special path laid out for each one of us. My work as a coach is to be a guide on your path, helping you to navigate around the obstacles and avoid and/or overcome the various roadblocks along the way.

Not only are we on a path to the life we will have for eternity with the Lord in glory, if we belong to Him, but we are on a path to a better and richer life here on earth. This life path can be one that leads to healthy and fulfilling relationships – with others, with God, and with yourself!

Are you on the path of abundant life? If you would like to learn more about how I can help you or whether we would be a good fit for a coaching relationship, send me a message and we will set up a time for a complimentary discovery call.,

God is the great healer! (Exodus 15:26)

One thing that I love about my coaching is that I have the privilege of taking part in my client’s healing.

As I listen, guide and pray with and for clients, the Spirit’s love shines through and God’s healing presence goes to work.

God uses the storms that we encounter and endure in our lives to create a unique path for each of us. I love helping to direct God’s light onto that path.

In the words of the early 20th century writer and editor, Jessie Penn-Lewis, “He can gather up and straighten all that lies behind you as well as the crooked things before you.”

I don’t believe that our healing will be complete until we are with the Lord in our eternal home, but the healing we experience here and now can be used to help and encourage others and to bless us with the abundant life that He desires His children to have.

Our healing brings His light to the world!

Where do you need to experience His healing touch?

Your path ahead may look like a maze.

Each day presents numerous choices that require a decision. Choosing which way to turn isn’t always easy.

Thankfully, there is a Navigator to help steer us through and around the obstacle course.

He stays with us. He does not leave us.

We can relax!

If you are ready to acknowledge your need for help, and ready to accept the fact that, as your Savior, you can put your trust in Him, you’ll find that He has a glorious destiny to lead you to!

Are you ready to grip His hand and let Him be your Navigator?

Like to talk about it?

Are you heading in any particular direction or toward any destination? Do you know if the path you’re on will take you where you want to go?

Maybe there is a relationship in your life you would like to improve, or maybe there is one you would be better off leaving behind.

Are you on the brink of needing to make any important decisions?

Talking with a coach can make a difference!

Do you have a next step in mind?

The farmer needs a guide to help him direct his plow in a straight path. He fixes his gaze on an object in the distance, like a tree or a post, to help him stay on a straight path. If he turns to look behind him while he plows, his plow will veer off course and his furrows will become crooked.

Like the farmer, Paul admonished the church that a straight path forward requires that we avoid looking behind us and focus on the things that are ahead. As we keep our focus ahead, depending on the Lord as our guide, our path will produce great things that He has in store for us, both in this life and in our home with Him in heaven, the prize of everlasting glory!

Are you avoiding the temptation of concentrating on what’s behind you and working to keep your focus on the high calling ahead of you?

This is my prayer. Every morning. Every day.

His unfailing Love is my Life Path.

He is my Guide and I trust in Him.

No matter what today’s obstacles may be, following His lead always keeps me on the right path.

“Ask and it will be given to you; . . .” (Matthew 7:7).

What do you pray for?
