Looking to Jesus’ sacrificial love, we see what true love looks like.

If we desire to have fulfilling, meaningful relationships with others, then we need look no further than His demonstration to us.

True love has a cost.  Jesus chose to love us regardless of the great cost of our sin.

“This is how we know what love is:  Jesus Christ laid down His life for us.  And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.”

(1 John 3:16)

Are you willing to take on the sacrificial mindset of Christ in expressing your love for others?

For me, the importance of my coaching work is in direct correlation with the importance of establishing and maintaining loving relationships. Their importance is second only to my commitment to Christ and my relationship with Him.

Coaching is a partnership where we have a common goal – to improve the relationships of the client. My work is about encouraging and helping clients to cultivate healthy and enjoyable relationships.

My enthusiasm for coaching is fueled by the love of God. His unfathomable love and grace motivate me to share His love and to help clients to achieve God-given goals. God’s love touches and heals us. His love enables us to understand our true identity and worth, which allows us to enjoy healthy relationships.

My #1 priority of focusing on loving relationships is my storyline of why I do what I do.

Good conflict resolution is integral to healthy relationships.

This picture reminds me of the importance of staying on an even keel when disagreements arise; staying steady, balanced, and on course.

When we feel hurt or upset by the words or actions of someone we care about, controlling our emotions is one of the ways we can maintain balance to have a clear perspective of the situation at hand.

We may feel out of control at the moment, but we can choose to stay calm and control our response. Then we will have our best shot at solving the problem at hand in a peaceful, harmonious manner.

We can even choose JOY in our trials! Joy comes from recognizing that that our trials can lead us towards faithfulness, loyalty, and, as Merriam-Webster notes, provide a “steady and unwavering course in love, allegiance and conviction.”

I find it especially satisfying when I’m able to help people toward the resolution of difficult conflicts.

These verses from Corinthians perfectly portray my heart’s cry and capture what I believe God created me to do.

For many years, I have had a great desire to help others, and I have done this in my professional as well as my personal life.

God allowed me to go through the majority of my 56 years of life dealing with the hardships that come from being in unhealthy relationships.

I believe that He allowed the trials in my life not only to refine me, but also so that I would be used by Him through my own healing to support, comfort and encourage others while showing them the love of Christ.

The coaching relationship offers an ideal way for me to fulfill my calling while helping my clients to reach their own goals.
