I love sea glass!

It reflects light so beautifully.

It is a challenge, but ultimately rewarding, when you find those colorful pieces among the rocks and pebbles.

Their once jagged edges have been smoothed to perfection.

However, some of those pieces are better thrown back into the ocean for more polishing.

This is similar to the work the Lord does in shaping His children into His image as we focus our faith on Him.

He takes our brokenness and makes it beautiful as He smooths out our rough edges.

We will be perfect one day when we are with Him, but for now, we can become beautifully broken, and, most importantly, able to reflect His light and beauty to the world.

Are you letting the Lord polish your rough edges?

Today I am bringing you the ultimate tip!

This tip has the power not only to change your relationships, but everything in your life that needs changing.

Here it is: God is the solution for every difficulty and problem we face in life. He is the source of our strength.

He wants us to trust Him completely. He wants us to turn to Him for the solutions to our problems and difficulties in life.

He is our healer and comforter and desires to heal us of our old emotional wounds and memories.

He wants us to be completely dependent upon Him. There is no substitute for trust in God.

Where do you turn for help? Are you depending on someone or something besides the Lord?

Through Christ’s suffering we have victory.  Victory in Jesus, our Savior!

In these days leading up to Resurrection Day (aka Easter), we reflect on the pain Jesus endured and the blood he shed on our account. We honor the Lamb who was slain for us, and we remember that it is through His sacrifice that we are healed.

Having victory over our suffering can be better understood through the suffering that Jesus endured on our behalf. In our suffering, we can identify with Jesus and have fellowship with him. Our suffering can be healed if we look to Him. The cross turns our brokenness into healing.

Though it is difficult when in the darkness of suffering, if we focus on, and remember, the purpose in His suffering, there are great rewards. Our trials test the strength and genuineness of our faith and result in praise, glory and honor when Christ is revealed. This is a cause for celebration! Because of Christ’s resurrection from the dead, we are born again to a living hope and a beautiful inheritance kept in heaven for us that will last forever (1 Peter 1:3-9).

As sung in the hymn “The Old Rugged Cross”, one day we will exchange all of our suffering for a crown.

Are you giving thanks for suffering – His and your’s?

For me, the importance of my coaching work is in direct correlation with the importance of establishing and maintaining loving relationships. Their importance is second only to my commitment to Christ and my relationship with Him.

Coaching is a partnership where we have a common goal – to improve the relationships of the client. My work is about encouraging and helping clients to cultivate healthy and enjoyable relationships.

My enthusiasm for coaching is fueled by the love of God. His unfathomable love and grace motivate me to share His love and to help clients to achieve God-given goals. God’s love touches and heals us. His love enables us to understand our true identity and worth, which allows us to enjoy healthy relationships.

My #1 priority of focusing on loving relationships is my storyline of why I do what I do.

Is there a relationship in your life that you would like some help with? Send me a message or schedule a complimentary thirty-minute call to talk about a partnership.

Have you been hurt in a relationship with someone close to you?

God says: “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5).

God is always there for us, even when we are walking in the valley of despair.

He will never turn away from us.

Have you experienced the assurance of knowing that there is One who will never leave you or let you down?

Happy Valentines Day!

Did you know that there is only one source of love?

Valentines Day should remind believers of God’s commandment to love others as we love Him. Did you know that God commands us to love ourselves, too? (Galatians 5:14, Matthew 19:19, Luke 10:27, Mark 12:31)

Before we can love others with a love that is true, we need to understand our Father’s Agape love for us and we need to love ourselves.

As devotional author Chris Tiegreen puts it, “Before we ever know how to love, we have to know how to BE loved”.

For many of us, it can be very difficult to love ourselves, especially if we are filled with shame and guilt over past mistakes and failures.

As we come to love ourselves by realizing that we are a child of God, created to be in a relationship with Him, we find it easier to love others.

When you understand the love that God has for you and that you did nothing to deserve that love, you will be more likely to love others, even when they may not deserve it. Loving others begins with understanding and accepting God’s love for you.

Are you inspired to demonstrate His love to others?

These verses from Corinthians perfectly portray my heart’s cry and capture what I believe God created me to do.

For many years, I have had a great desire to help others, and I have done this in my professional as well as my personal life.

God allowed me to go through the majority of my 56 years of life dealing with the hardships that come from being in unhealthy relationships.

I believe that He allowed the trials in my life not only to refine me, but also so that I would be used by Him through my own healing to support, comfort and encourage others while showing them the love of Christ.

The coaching relationship offers an ideal way for me to fulfill my calling while helping my clients to reach their own goals.

Here’s to health in 2022!

God desires for His children to be healthy and to enjoy healthy, loving relationships.

Loving others well begins with understanding and accepting God’s love for you.

You are a precious child of God!

As He promises to bring health and healing to Jerusalem (Jeremiah 33:6), He wants you to be complete in Him and able to fulfill His plan and purpose.

He will heal His people and they will enjoy abundant peace and security!

Are you going to accept God’s best for you in the new year?
