I love the comforting thought of God always being with me.

What an assurance! We always have a shoulder to lean on – the broad shoulders of Immanuel. We always have someone to listen to our heartache – our constant Companion and Friend, Jesus.”

What is the greatest gift you are giving this Christmas?

The greatest gift that our Father has ever given us is salvation in His son, Jesus.

If you have accepted His miraculous gift, then you can know for certain that you belong to Him.

You may feel alone, and even abandoned at times, but this is a deception.

That our Lord paid such a huge price for you demonstrates how valuable you are to Him.

You need to trust that He has good things in store for you, even when you cannot envision it.

Christmastime brings us beautiful songs about peace on earth ~

“All is calm, all is bright.”

We long for peace in our hearts, but often do not feel it.

There is talk of World Peace, but it does not come.

There is only one place to look for true peace.

Only the Lord of Peace can give us peace at all times and in every way.

The gospel of Peace that He has brought us declares His love for us.

When we are still, we can feel His presence.

Even in the midst of the busyness of Christmas and even in the storms of life.

We have the assurance that He is with us and we can enjoy His Peace.

I am beginning this week with gratitude in my heart.

I am grateful for the love of family and that I was able to make the long journey with my son to spend time with mine for Thanksgiving.

I am most grateful, however, for love that is truly unfailing.

God’s love.

The more thankful I become, the more I feel His love.

No love can truly comfort me like His love.

No other love completely surrounds me when I am alone.

No other love fills me with such joy.

Check out this verse! It says we should give thanks, regardless of our circumstances! What a great way to begin Thanksgiving week!

 

Have you heard that Jesus came to set the captives free? That was me, but He has set me free, and now I am able to share this good news with you!

 

My desire is to help you find hope and healing through God’s amazing love for you and to help you to find God’s purpose in your suffering, along with the ability to praise Him regardless of your circumstances.

 

As long as I live, I will tell my story, bring God the glory and share hope with “the captives”.

 

God’s grace has set me free! Free from shame and guilt, free from condemnation.

 

We can trust Him to be with us and for us in all circumstances if we are putting our faith in Him.

 

This Thanksgiving, I am most thankful for the grace that God has given me.

I took this picture on the way to meet my friend for our last meal out before the restaurants closed.

 

There’s something about the water that is so calming to me. Just gazing at it melts my stress and worry away.

 

I think it is one of the Lord’s ways of speaking reassurance to my soul by displaying His presence.

 

It is not God’s will for His children to be anxious. Fretting only causes harm (Psalm 37:8)

 

I love how Charles Stanley puts it, “Concern motivates us to take action. Anxiety paralyzes us.”

 

Our concern should lead us to put our trust in God and to seek His plan and purpose. We make a choice in every situation that requires a response. The pandemic is no exception. 


God clearly wants us to eliminate fear and anxiety as a response and to put our trust and faith in Him to resolve it in whatever way serves His purposes.

Leave and Step Out! Don’t look back!

 

This is my tip for you today, learned through my own experience and trials.

 

God does not want you to dwell on past mistakes. There is nothing that can be gained from beating yourself up over bad decisions you have made or focusing on what you could have had if things had been different.

 

God has something new for you today! He has an “invincible” future in store for you, meaning “too powerful to be defeated or overcome”.

Do you need encouragement? Maybe you need a partner for your journey.

 

Hebrews 10:24 is a verse about encouragement. Paul tells us to think about the ways we can “spur one another on towards love and good deeds”. Synonyms for “spur” include to urge forward, encourage, motivate, prompt, propel, inspire, and stimulate.

 

As a coach, nothing brings a smile to my face faster than hearing that my client succeeded in reaching one of their goals.

 

Wouldn’t it help to have someone come alongside you and encourage you? Sometimes that is all you need to make that change you’ve been wanting to make.
